The simple truth is the most important one. The idea of love as an integral part of humaneness is shown in one of the most popular Ukrainian songs of 2017. The band who wrote the song, Бумбокс, is a first hip hop and funky groove band in Ukraine.
Бумбокс was founded in 2004.They became popular quite fast due to their famous performative manner. Their first album – Меломанія – was recorded just in 19 hours. Their second album – Family бізнес – (yes, it’s been called just like that) came out in 2006 and became golden in Ukraine, which means that more than 100 000 copies have been sold.
The frontman of Бумбокс, Андрій Хливнюк, writes all the lyrics for the band’s songs. He is one of the most recognizable representatives of early 2000’s Ukrainian music, and Бумбокс is still extremely popular today.
