Mixing up Ukrainian adjectives and adverbs is one of the most common mistakes of learners. 

You don’t say: Фантастичний!

You say: Фантастично!

As a general rule, Ukrainian adjectives always refer to a noun or pronoun (фантастичний день, фантастична дівчина), while adverbs describe a state or manner and answer the question “how?”.
